No surprises, except the view.
In short
On a tandem paragliding flight you sit in a harness in front of a licensed pilot who does the flying. Your jobs: run a few steps at takeoff, enjoy the view, and stand up for the landing. On calm days you may even get to steer.
Step by step
- BookingYou send a request and fill in a short questionnaire about fitness and health.
- The weather callWhen the conditions are good, I send you the place and time.
- MeetingAt the landing field, the trailhead, or in Ljubljana if I'm picking you up.
- At the takeoffI lay out the wing and get you into the harness and helmet. You get a short briefing and sign a short waiver.
- Waiting for the right breezeSometimes it takes a few minutes. Good flights start with patience.
- TakeoffWe run together. Keep running even when your feet leave the ground. That's the feet-off moment.
- In the airSit back, look around, talk, take photos. On calm days you may get to steer.
- Landing and afterWhen I say so, stand up and run or walk a few steps. You pay after the flight, and your photos arrive by WeTransfer within a week.
What to wear
- Hiking boots or sturdy trainers
- Long trousers
- A windproof jacket: it's cooler up there, even in summer
- Sunglasses
- In the cold months: gloves, a hat under the helmet and a warm layer
Leave at home: sandals, skirts and dresses, loose scarves, and anything you can't afford to drop.
